I‘m Nicole Ohme. I help adults in midlife and beyond move with greater ease, reduce pain and stiffness to enjoy an active, independent life.
I’m a Movement Educator, Fascial Movement Specialist, Yoga Teacher & Teacher Trainer and Massage Therapist.
For over 25 years, I’ve supported people move with greater ease through fascia-informed movement, yoga, somatic education, breathwork, and massage.
My work is designed to help you reduce pain, stiffness, tension, and stress, so you can feel comfortable in your body and keep doing what you love.
I don’t believe freedom begins when we’re younger, stronger, or more flexible.
Freedom begins when we feel at home in our body.
When we move with greater ease, life opens up again.
Who My Work Is For
People who feel their body has become tighter, less mobile, or less reliable over the years.
Perhaps you wake up feeling stiff, notice more aches and tension, or find that exercises that once helped no longer feel right. You may have tried yoga, fitness programs, treatments, or online advice, yet still feel disconnected from your body or overwhelmed by conflicting information.
This is exactly where I come in.
I offer a calm, intelligent, and sustainable approach to movement, one that helps you understand your body rather than fight against it.
My approach
I combine fascia-informed movement, somatic education, yoga, breathwork, and massage therapy to help you:
- reduce tension, stiffness, and stress
- improve mobility, posture, balance, and body awareness
- learn simple self-care practices that fit naturally into everyday life
- feel more confident and comfortable in your body
I believe lasting change comes from understanding how your body moves, breathes, adapts, and responds to everyday life.
My approach is calm, practical, precise, and always tailored to the individual.
Rather than following rigid routines, you’ll learn how to move in ways that feel natural, sustainable, and supportive for the body you have today.
My teaching style combines professional precision with warmth, relaxed mindfulness, and a sense of humor.

MY STORY
Looking back, every stage of my life has taught me something different about movement, the body, and what it means to feel free.
As a young adult, traveling internationally with Up with People introduced me to different cultures and showed me the power of genuine human connection. Those experiences continue to shape the way I teach today.
Soon afterwards, I followed my greatest passion and became a professional dancer.
Dance was more than a career. It was my way of expressing emotions that words could never fully capture. Through movement, I experienced creativity, joy, and a profound sense of freedom. It was where I felt most alive.
Then an injury during an audition changed everything.
Like many people I work with today, I suddenly found myself asking a difficult question:
What now?
That unexpected turning point led me to my first massage therapy training in Switzerland. What began as a practical decision soon became a calling. I realized I was just as fascinated by helping people move and feel better as I had been by movement itself.
Massage became the foundation for years of further studies. Each step deepened my understanding of the body, not as something to fix, but as something to listen to and support.
In 1998, I completed my yoga teacher training with Cyndi Lee at OM Yoga in New York City. Yoga brought together movement, awareness, breath, and presence in a way that deeply resonated with me.
Over the years, I’ve integrated insights from a variety of yoga traditions, massage and bodywork approaches, somatic movement, fascia education, rehabilitation-based movement, and breathwork into a practical, holistic approach that continues to evolve.
With every training, I returned to the same question:
How can I help people move with greater ease, confidence, and freedom?
My work has taken me around the world, from serving as the resident yoga teacher at COMO Parrot Cay, the internationally renowned luxury wellness resort in the Turks and Caicos, to working privately with Lady Bamford, her family, and guests in England and Barbados.
I’ve also taught throughout Europe, the United States, Turkey, and the Caribbean, working with people from many different cultures and walks of life.
Whether someone was a business leader, an artist, a politician, or simply taking their first yoga class, everyone wanted the same thing:
To wake up without pain.
To move with more ease.
To feel at home in their body again.
Today, my greatest joy is helping others rediscover the freedom to move with ease, confidence, and trust in their own bodies.
That’s the heart of my work.

Why I Do This Work
After more than 25 years of supporting people through classes, workshops, retreats, teacher trainings, and private sessions, one truth has become clearer than ever.
People don’t need more pressure.
They need a better relationship with their body.
That understanding shapes everything I teach.
I believe aging doesn’t have to mean accepting pain, stiffness, or losing confidence in movement.
With the right guidance, clear information, and simple daily practices, it is possible to remain active, independent, and connected to your body throughout life.
That is the work I love.
